Curatorial Fellow

This Fellowship provides an opportunity for emerging museum professionals or humanities scholars to work within a busy Curatorial Department on a new collections initiative. We seek applicants interested in modern/contemporary art collecting practices as they relate to

a changing and increasingly interdisciplinary gallery field.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Ideate, develop, manage, operationalize, and execute cross-functional brand marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships, with a focus on driving awareness, adoption, and favorability among users.

Be an essential point person to campaign partners (guest curators, artists, galleries, etc.) to effectively communicate and execute campaigns.

Coordinate creative and production vendors, to scope project tasks, deliverables

Secure image rights as needed for campaigns

Ideate on partnership opportunities and execute partnership plans for brand awareness and user acquisition

POSITION SPECIFICS:

Part-time (15 hours), Salary Exempt, $20,000 annually

REQUIED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A. or M.A. degree in art history / museum studies / arts administration (or a related field e.g. cultural studies, curatorial studies)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with modern and contemporary art required.
